I am the mother of a young daughter and I am becoming increasingly concerned about the society she is growing up in, particularly in the way it views women and girls. It feels like the battles won for us by past generations of women are being brushed over and as she grows up she will be more and more objectified. I do not know what to do about this, I hope we can collectively find a way to change the pressures faced by our daughters somehow....
